CEIDIR's Review is an online publication with one or two numbers per year. All visitants to CEIDIR's webpages have free access to all our numbers. Our intention is to present contributions from all over the world on topics related to LOCAL and REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT. Each number may have contributions in Spanish and English.

Review's description
Background
CEIDIR's Review has been created by CEIDIR.org which mission is to generate, share and exchange information with diverse institutions and individuals in order to contribute to the economic and social development of localities, in general, and lagging areas, in particular. Practitioners, researchers, policy makers and all the people interested in development issues are invited to participate.
Papers/Articles/Essays
Contributions must not be longer than 5,000 words nor less than 1,500 words. All articles must include a small abstract (summary).
From two to six contributions are published in each number. CEIDIR's Review publishes informative, opinion and academic articles written in English and Spanish.
Contributions must be original and respectful of copyright laws. If contributions have been published in other publications, authors must abide by their copyrights. Authors are requested to notify to CEIDIR if their papers are being considered or revised by other publications at the moment of submission to CEIDIR's Review.
Topics
- Local and regional economic development strategies
- Urban planning
- Poverty, social exclusion and social policy
- Governance, government and political science
- National, local and regional institutions facing globalisation
All these are broad topics. Contributions on sub-topics related to one of them will be considered. Essays focusing on specific regions, localities, countries or communities are specially welcome.

The deadline for sending your contributions for our next number is May 30, 2012. Essay's characteristics are presented in our Review's description.
Please, send contributions to ceidir@netscape.net indicating your full name, nationality, postal and e-mail addresses. We will inform you, prior to publication, if your paper has been selected. The selection is based in readability and pertinence of the topic. We appreciate your interest and do not forget to have a look to our Review in the future.
